Associated Institutions

The Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei maintains relations with the following institutions, aimed at promoting various initiatives and projects.

 

  • Fondazione Lincei per la scuola
    Established on June 23, 2015 with headquarters at the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, the Foundation aims to promote new didactics in schools, through the national project "Lincei for new didactics in schools: a national network"
     
  • Fondazione Leone Caetani
    The Leone Caetani Foundation was established in 1921 (or 1924) at the Reale Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. The creation of the Foundation is due to the wish of Prince Leone Caetani Duke of Sermoneta (1869-1935).
    "In the course of his travels and studies, the Duke had the opportunity to acquire, in the East and in the West, a large number of books and manuscripts from the East or on Oriental studies, particularly related to the history, geography, ethnography and literature of those peoples, forming his own precious library ... he wanted to entrust to scholars, companions and followers his work and link it, through a donation, to the great and unique National Academy of Sciences in Italy, the R. Accademia dei Lincei".
     
  • Associazione Amici dei Lincei
    The Associazione Amici dei Lincei, founded in December 1986, aims to establish and develop a permanent link between the economic, business and industrial sectors and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.
     
  • Unione Accademica Nazionale
    The Unione Accademica Nazionale (National Academic Union) was established ‘with the purpose of offering Italian collaboration, also through the coordination of various academic activities, in research and publications promoted by the Unione Accademica Nazionale, in the philological, archaeological, historical, moral, political and social sciences, in accordance with its Statutes (Cfr. R. D. 18 novembre 1923 [Statuto dell'U.A.N., art. 1], e L. 8 giugno 1949, n. 428, art. 2).
