Urgent measures to deal with the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19
Starting from August 6th 2021 (in compliance with law decree no. 105 of 23 July 2021), visitors will be admitted to the Library, the Villa Farnesina and allowed to attend conferences and meetings only upon presentation of a valid COVID “Green Pass” (EU Digital COVID Certificate) and a valid identity document.
In compliance with art. 9 of law-decree n. 52, of 22 April 2021 (converted, with modifications, by the law n. 87 17 June 2021), a digital or printed “Green Pass” is a proof that the bearer has either:
- been vaccinated against COVID-19/SARS CoV 2 (validity 9 months from the completion of the vaccination programme or from the fifteenth day following the first dose of vaccine);
- received a negative COVID-19/SARS CoV 2 test (rapid molecular or antigen test; validity 48 hours from the test).
For more information, visit the EU Digital COVID Certificate official webpage.
The above restrictions do not apply to subjects excluded from the vaccination by their age or on the basis of a valid medical certification issued according to the criteria defined by the Ministry of Health (art. 9-bis, paragraph 3, decree-law of 22 April 2021, n. 52, converted, with modifications, by the law n. 87 of 17 June 2021).
Members of the staff at the entrance are in charge of making sure that visitors comply with the aforementioned measures.
