The Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei remembers with esteem and gratitude Antonio Luigi Cocuzzi, who served the institution from 1966 to 2004, also holding the position of Secretary General of the Association of Friends of the Accademia dei Lincei and of the “I Lincei per la Scuola” Foundation.
A law graduate, throughout his distinguished career - which unfolded entirely at the Academy and culminated from 2000 to 2004 with his appointment as Director General - he was able to combine his high level of legal expertise with extraordinary organizational and administrative skills and institutional dedication. His career, marked by more than three decades of conscientious work, has left an indelible mark on the institution’s recent history and in the memories of all those who shared academic life with him.
