The Honorary Doctorate has been conferred to the fellow Luisa Torsi by the dall’Åbo Akademi University, "in recognition of her pioneering work on the use of organic electrolyte-gated transistors as biosensors and for advancing biosensor research at Åbo Akademi University".
The ceremony was held on Friday, 23 May 2025 at Turku.
