G7 Academies Meetings

Among the various international activities, the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei participates in the meetings held by the national academies of the G7 countries. Launched in 2005 by the Royal Society, in preparation for the Summit in the United Kingdom, the event is held annually, also with the participation of academies from emerging countries. The purpose of the meetings is to produce joint statements for recommendations on global issues to be presented to the leaders of the G7 countries before the Summit meetings.
