In 2019 he was awarded the Marina Drinov badge with a ribbon (for exceptional services in the study of the Bulgarian medieval manuscript heritage).
In 2020, he received the prize of the Union of Writers of Russia for the book "Sources on the History of the Serbian Middle Ages" (Nis, 2020, in Serbian, 226 pages).
